Remarks
Apple publishes no digital specifications for this adapter; the record belongs entirely to the silicon descriptor. From it: a UAC2 device capping at 24-bit PCM, 44.1 and 48 kHz, with no DSD path.
One curiosity worth the witnessing — it enumerates as high-speed UAC2, the modern class, yet offers no rung above 48 kHz. It does the ordinary rates correctly and stops there.
