Remarks

The Forge's most-used instrument: honored and reliable, compliant with specifications — and, as the silicon descriptor reveals, in fact reaching native DSD512 where ddHiFi markets only DSD256.

Operational note: during sustained operation and when using PD-passthrough, voltage jitter may cause transient loss of PLL lock; the failure manifests as approximately three seconds of static or moderately garbled audio. The condition self-resolves on transport rebuild.
