Remarks
iBasso advertises the DC04 Ultra at PCM 32-bit / 768 kHz and Native DSD512, and the silicon descriptor witnesses exactly that — asynchronous USB Audio Class 2, PCM to 32-bit / 768 kHz, a raw DSD alt clocked to DSD512. The dual CS43198 carry the wire faithfully, and where the vendor names native, the vendor is taken at its word.
Two postures share the DSD512 ceiling in this collection. Some vendors name the full reach of their silicon and let the descriptor confirm it; others publish a DSD256 spec while the wire quietly clears 512. The DC04 Ultra belongs to the first group — a clean Match across both buckets, with nothing held back and nothing oversold.
