A clean concordance. NICEHCK's claim for the NK1 Ultra is engraved on the shell itself — PCM 32-bit / 384 kHz — and the descriptor meets it exactly: native 16-, 24-, and 32-bit containers, each carrying the full rate ladder up to 384 kHz. Nothing is rate-locked to a tier, and nothing is padded to fake a depth. Red Book material plays at its own 16-bit depth, native.

The ladder itself is worth reading. Below Red Book it reaches down to 8, 16, and 32 kHz — the voice-band rates of the bridge's telephony heritage, carried forward unstripped; a true 8 kHz file plays here at its own rate, which few pocket devices will do. Above it, the ladder doubles from 48 — 96, 192, 384 — and offers no 88.2, 176.4, or 352.8. High-resolution material in the 44.1 family finds no native rung above Red Book and must be resampled to reach the wire. The claim is met; the shape of the ladder is the trade.

On keying: the USB identity is a shared platform marque, not a mark unique to NICEHCK — the same vendor block carries the ddHiFi TC44Grip, the TRN Black Pearl, and the Kiwi Ears AD1, and this exact descriptor has been witnessed under other product IDs in the same block. The host announced the model string "NICEHCK NK1 Ultra"; the descriptor declared the shared bridge, and the witnessing named the rest.
