Remarks
A clean concordance, and a modest one by design. Schiit specs the Vestri's USB input at PCM 16-bit / 44.1 kHz through 32-bit / 192 kHz, and the descriptor meets it exactly: discrete 16-, 24-, and 32-bit containers, each carrying the full rate ladder to 192 kHz on an asynchronous USB Audio Class 2 interface. Red Book material plays at its own 16-bit depth, native — the Vestri declares a true 16-bit alt rather than forcing everything up into a wider container. The single weighable claim is met at the wire.
On keying: unlike the borrowed silicon-vendor blocks that carry most dongles into the Concordance, the USB identity here is Schiit's own. The Unison USB receiver enumerates under Schiit's registered vendor block — a distinct per-model identity, not a shared platform marque — and the host announced the model string "Vestri" outright. The second Schiit instrument to enter the Concordance, and it presents its name plainly at the wire.
